Toronto has so much to offer, but my favorite part is the beauty it presents at night. The city lights reflecting off Lake Ontario is truly something special!
You could say it was almost peaceful watching the city from afar, not being in the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto. It doesn't take much to remember though, as you drive away from the oddly perfect park in the middle of the city.
A pink castle at night means kids (and adults) dreams came true. Spending the day celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Disney Paris was a lot of fun. Their new night show they displayed was absolutely touching! I even saw people brought to tears (not myself of course..).
Being able to see the Arc de Triomphe was incredible, but there is something about the glowing lights after dusk that makes it look even more empowering.
Our day in Paris didn't quite go as planned, but that's what makes for the best stories. We strolled through Paris and stumbled upon the Arc de Triomphe as darkness was upon us. The added affect of the vehicles and buses driving by added to an interesting perspective.
I hate to be biased however, this is one of my favorite photos I have captured to date. There is something about London and there is something about Big Ben. This structure has stood through time.. literally! Imagine the stories it could tell! A nod to the Disney fans.. a minute before the kids were getting their bearings for Neverland!
You have to be envious of the view Big Ben takes in every night. I merely had a few hours. I highly suggest wandering around London in the hours that make London thrive. Take some time and stand on Westminster Bridge and take in the beautiful view of the London Eye, and when you decide you have admired it long enough, turn 180 degrees and you'll now have Big Ben in your cross hairs.
I've spent a month living near the Tower Bridge and seeing its beauty however, nothing compares to seeing the Tower Bridge at night. This is no doubt my favorite bridge, but you must take some time and soak it in under the night skies of London.
A great end to our day was seeing Brandenburg Gate all lit up at night. I almost prefer it at night, the light shines on just right.
