Just out for an evening stroll, I didn't even know this bridge existed until we were walking on it. The Love Lock Pedestrian Bridge appears to have brought hundreds of lovers together for this romantic gesture.
An evening stroll through Salzburg was a nice way to end our busy day! We ended up going to the salt mines for most of the day so getting out and seeing all the people having picnics or just lounging on the grassy river banks was a breath of fresh air.
Crystal clouds over the waters. The photo doesn't do it justice. Standing before these clouds they were sparkling so much. It was so beautiful. You can see the sparkles in the waters on the reflection. Definitely visit here on a sunny day to really get the full experience.
Crystal World (Kristallwelten) outside of Innsbruck, Austria was a great few hours. A collection of tons of Swarovski crystals, it was really neat seeing how they designed different pieces to really get the sparkle of the crystals. My mother has collected these for as long as I've been alive so it was cool to be in Austria where it all got started.
This photo has a hefty story attached to it. Looking out our hotel room window during the sunset in Innsbruck was an unexpected, perfect ending to a difficult day. Losing Eurail passes, spending hours with the Swiss police, hopping on another train and forgetting our tickets.. again! We walked into our Hilton hotel to a free upgrade to a mountain view room, two complimentary beverages at the bar (much needed after our day) and two free snacks! I couldn't help but laugh as the concierge, giving me a weird look, was explaining this to us! Thank you Innsbruck for your hospitality and beautiful views! We ended up staying an extra day!
