Mountains. Water. Sunset. Medieval Charm. What more could you ask for in a day? Wandering the streets of Lucerne with an ice cream cone in hand was a magical day. We listened to the water crashing on the shores, saw lots of swans swimming and had a mountain back drop view as we strolled the streets. The cherry on top was the beautiful sunset over the Kapellbrücke.
As the sun sets in Lucerne, the glow on the mountain signifies the day is nearing an end. For some people that means their day has just begun, for us, it was time to go to bed, for tomorrows adventure awaits.
In the city of Lucerne, as the sun begins to set, we looked out from where we were eating and the water mixed with the mountain was calling my name. The water has the perfect amount of ripple in it as the mountain sits looking down upon us.
Could this be any more perfect? Standing in Lucerne along the coast, I was taking photos of the swans when these two were almost dancing and formed this heart with their necks. I've read about this and it could mean they are about to fight, however it did not appear that way as they formed up like this.
This was my first time seeing swans and the conditions were absolutely perfect. The swans are breathtaking as they swim along the blue waters in Lucerne.
